Rainbow Ridge Farm donates to many wonderful charities on Maui and the mainland. One of my favorites is Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Maui.

My "Little", Kanoelani, and I have been a match through this organization since November of 1999. Being a part of Kanoelani's life has been a wonderful gift. We continue to share magical moments together on our paradise island. She has taught me so much through being her "Big Sister". All I need to do is listen to the whispers of her dreams and encourage her to reach for them.

Another organization I support is Hale Makua, "Home for respected elders".
Our kapuna hold knowledge of the past, the beauty of being present and the wisdom for the future. All I need to do in their presence is listen and just be.

Then there are the Critters, Critters, Critters at the Maui Humane Society.
Our son and I just adore animals! As a result we now have 34 critters on the farm. Of course, that includes my "workin' gals" – the hens, Lucy and Ethel and our gang! My wonderful husband, David Fleetham, has made me promise that I will not come home with any more pets. So, please neuter your animals!

My favorite mainland Charity is Chinese Children Adoption International.
This is the agency we are using to adopt our daughter. So, of course this would be my favorite right now. We love working with this agency. We appreciate what these folks are doing for many of the children in orphanages in China.
